Helen Kavalauskas 96 of Bristol formerly of New Britain entered into eternal rest March 19, 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Kavalauskas Sr for 61 years. Helen was the daughter of the late William and Mary Glownia. She was born Dec. 21, 1912 in New Britain. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters and her cherished grand daughter Karen Grady. Helen is survived by her sons Stephen and his wife Theresa Kavalauskas of Plantsville and George Kavalauskas of New Britain, a sister Mary Gurski of New Britain and her precious grand daughters Susan Galullo and Regina Kavalauskas and grandson George Kavalauskas and 6 great grand children who will keep her in their hearts forever. She was a loving and devoted grandmother.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 9:45 am from the Venskunas Funeral Home 670 Stanley St New Britain followed by an 11:00am a Mass of Christian Burial at St Andrews Church. Burial will follow in St Mary Cemetery. Calling hrs will take place the morning of the funeral from 9:45am till the time of the mass.
