Susan M. ( Schiffert) Romano 93 entered into rest on March 25, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie Schiffert. She was born and raised in New Britain and attended local schools. Susan was predeceased by her husband Patsy Romano and her three sons Patrick Romano, John and Joseph. Susan is survived by her beloved daughter Mary Ann Romano of Middletown, her brother William Schiffert and his wife Florence of New Britain and a sister Barbara Scalora and her husband Joseph of Southington, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday March 29, 2010 from the Venskunas Funeral Home 670 Stanley St New Britain at 9:15am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St John the Evangelist Church.
