JEANNE KEELER CLARK HEPPLE

Jeanne Keeler Clark Hepple 78 of Avery Heights, Hartford ( formerly of Newington and New Britain died peacefully on Friday Aug. 20, 2010 in the Palliative Care Unit of Hartford Hospital. She was the widow of Charles Donald Hepple who passed away in 1990. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Aug. 25, 1931. Jeanne was the daughter of Charles J. Keeler and May A.( Schmitt) Keeler. She graduated from Fontbonne Hall Academy in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. She was predeceased by her first husband, Byron J. Clark who died in 1977 and her brother Charles J. Keeler Jr. Jeanne had a great sense of humor and dry a dry wit. She loved shopping at thrift stores and tag sales and assembling stylish outfits with jewelry to match. She also loved creating a beautiful home and never missed an opportunity to go out to eat. Her champagne tastes included lobster, filet mignon and lox and bagels. Her other interests included poetry, mystery novels, Scrabble, tending her house plants, pets, music and jigsaw puzzles. For many years, Jeanne worked with her daughters at Connecticut Veterinary Center in Kensington and Twin City Animal Hospital in Newington. She leaves her children Kathleen M. Clark, D.V.M.,and her husband Victor Perpetua of Newington; Denise J. Clark, also of Newington; Kevin J. Clark of Stafford, VA; and her stepchildren Steven Hepple, and Peter Hepple and his wife Lee, all of Newington; Pamela Terwilliger and her husband Mike of New Hartford; grandchildren Byron Perpetua; Heather and Holly Dye-Clark; Lindsey, Morgan and Mallory Hepple; John, Michael, Jimmy and Allison Hepple; and Jeffrey, Tim and Brian Terwilliger. She also leaves her special friend Craig " Scotty" Allen and her other good friends at The Retreat in Hartford, where she was very happy. A burial service took place at Fairview Cemetery in New Britain on Aug. 21, 2010. A Memorial Service will be held at the Avery Heights Chapel on Saturday Aug. 28, 2010 at 11:00am.
