WILLIAM KEOUGH Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William Keough a life long resident of New Britain entered into rest on Saturday at New Britain General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Constance ( Ambrose) Keough. William was the son of the late William Keough and Ann ( Scopes). He attended local schools in New Britain then he joined the Navy during WW11. After serving in the Navy he came back to New Britain where he was employed as a spray painter at Landers Frary & Clark. When Landers closed he went to work at Fafnir Bearing for over 20 years until his retirement. Willaim was an avid reader and gardener. Besides his wife Constance he is survived by one son William Keough Jr and his wife Joan Keough of Fall River, Mass. and one daughter Constance P. Keough of New Britain. He is also survived by his best doggie buddy Pumpernickle. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 8:45 am from Venskunas Funeral Home 670 Stanley St New Britain. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am at St Francis of Assissi Church. Burial with full military honors will take place in St Mary Cemetery. The flag will be presented to his wife Constance. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in memory of William to a charrity of your choice.
