Ann Yukna
YUKNA, Ann Ann Yukna, 85, of Plainville formerly of New Britain passed away Saturday evening, (April 30, 2005) at New Britain General Hospital. She was born in New Britain and was the daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Sikoris) Yukna. She lived in New Britain moving to Plainville in 1959. Ann was employed by Emhart Mgf. until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of St. Andrews Church, the former Ladies Guild, The Rosary society, and the New Britain Council of Catholic Women. She is survived by a brother, Charles Yukna of Plainville; and three nephews, Richard Vingris of Bristol, Peter Vingris and his wife, Susan of Titusville, FL, and Frank Vingris of Plainville. She was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Vingris. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. from the Venskunas Funeral Home, 670 Stanley St., New Britain for 12 Noon Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrews Church. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Marys Cemetery. Calling hours will be at 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
