Chester Swiatek 65 of Berlin entered into rest on Friday June 6th, 2014. Chester leaves behind his wife of 42 years Maria Swiatek, his son Peter with his wife Lindsay Swiatek of Berlin and his two grandsons Brandon and Owen Swiatek. He is also survived by his mother Janina (Sciborski) Swiatek ,brother Walter with wife Maria Swiatek of New Britain and sister Sophie Janowiec of Bristol. He also leaves his sister-in-law Krystyna Pytko, many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. His son Richard Swiatek and father Jozef Swiatek predeceased Chester. After over 35 years of service Chester recently retired from Flanagan Industries in Glastonbury. During his leisure time he enjoyed classic cars, fishing, playing cards with family and was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots football team. Chester was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Britian. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday at the Venskunas Funeral Home 670 Stanley St New Britain, Ct at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church at 11:15am.
