ZIGMAS DALANGAUSKAS

Zigmas Dalangauskas entered into rest on June 13, 2006 at the age of 91 at Staten Island University Hospital in New York City, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Jozapas and Elena ( Lipnaciute) Dalangauskas. Zigmas was predeceased by his wife Regina Dalangauskas who passed away in 1989. Born in Lithuania he came to the USA in 1948 and worked at Cavel Tool and Machine Co. He moved to Staten Island, NY to live with his daughter in 1997. Prior to his moving to New York he was a member of St Andrews Church. He is survived by a daughter Laima Mihailovich of Staten Island New York and a son and daughter in law Raymond and Sandra Dalangauskas of Tehachapi, Ca., 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a sister Anastazija Semaska. of New Britain. Zigmas was predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will take place from the Venskunas Funeral Home 670 Stanley St New Britain on Friday at 9:00am and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am at St Andrews Church. Burial will follow at St Marys Cemetery in the family plot. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made for memorial masses.
